The purpose of initiation is the revelation of the Christ, or a Christ principle, which is the creative power of the world. Initiation represents the contacting of a spiritual power that can deal effectively with all the circumstances and factors of existence. It was largely this idea that led the author to write this book. She has taken the four quaternaries of water, air, fire and earth as being the four main initiations.
