Effusion of the Holy Ghost.

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. Christ's Salvation to be extended to the Gentiles.

I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.-Is. xlix. 6.

I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles. -Is. xlii. 6.
