where Moses prophesied the benefits coming to the descendants of your forefather and first food controller, Joseph, to you who are his seed.

Has America received the blessings of the Lord and the "precious things of heaven"? They have received God's laws and ordered liberty with the largest measure of peace of any nation and have been blessed from their earliest beginningI can hear you murmur, "Yes, they have," even at this distance.

Has America received the blessings of the "dew" and the "deep that coucheth beneath [the springs and water tables below]"? No country has been more blessed with the dew, the rain and the deep that coucheth beneath. An American famine for lack of these things has been unknown in your history while other nations have not been so blessed.

Has America been blessed "for the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and for the precious things put forth by the moon"? Why certainly they have. You are shipping your surplus bananas, Oregon apples, California prunes, olives, and raisins, Florida and California oranges and lemons all over the earth, and your Maine potato crops are known the continent over, while your corn is the wonder of the world, not to mention your wheat, oats, rye, etc.

And "for the chief things of the ancient mountains, and for the precious things of the

lasting hills"? Well you have them! A glance at the maps opp. pp. 114-115 shows where we get off on oil in the coming fuel age, and for an essential like coal, a glance at the map shows that Brother John and Brother Jonathan have the lion's share. Take nickle; I am told that 95 per cent. of the world's supply comes from Canada to New York. Take copper; America absolutely produces and controls the world output. Take zinc; take almost anything; and it is the same story. Take a key essential like steel. "The United States Steel Corporation alone with a capital of $575,000,000 makes more steel than all Europe and they are only one of the many steel companies doing business in America"*-given to Joseph's seed for an inheritance.

Never having had the pleasure of meeting that master mind of the world on steel production, Charles M. Schwab, I am unable to say whether he is a student of Bible prophecy or not, but I should judge the chances rather favor the "not," therefore he probably may not know that Joseph's offspring were promised the wealth of the ancient hills and mountains. However, on January 5th, 1921, at the Copley Plaza in Boston, Mr. Schwab before the Massachusetts Bankers' Association made the following statement of fact*: "Our United States has been endowed by God with
