That this sort of contrast is in exact accord ance to Scripture, may be seen by referring to that famous passage, Heb. X. 28, 29, where the apostle states the. Exact case: He that de spised Moses' law died without mercy, under two or three witnesses: of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an nu holy thing, and bath done despite to the Spirit Of grace a description 'of Socinianism, as ex act as can be; and put in contrast too with the profligate despiser of that law of ten command ments, which was given by Moses at Mount Sinai.
