Gayton for £1000-they meet in the house of a bailiff-Gayton pays St. Ermont's debt— and makes his own escape in Paddeen's clothes-in the 3d act, St. Ermont and Gayton discover that they had each of them married the same woman-Gayton had married her a year before St. Ermont-the latter is consequently at liberty-Mrs. Gayton acknowledges the falsehood of her accusation, and the play ends with the union of St. Ermont and Constantia this C. in 3 acts was written by Barrett-it is a poor piece.

servant by the name of Neville-she is surprised at seeing Vivid instead of her brother-at the conclusion, Vivid marries Prudence.
